Hi Y'all! Back this weekend with a few new cards to share. I just got this great stamp and embossing folder from Sizzix & Hero Arts. Also I am newly in love with the Neat & Tangled Across the Card stamp set, so I had to use it as well. I did a masculine and a feminine version of the card..let me know what you think!!

MFT At the Movies Card
Hi Y'all!! Love, Love Love Gina K's new ink pads! They are literally just as awesome as the Hero Arts Shadow Inks (hmmmm...maybe Hero Arts manufacturers them???). I got to pull out another stamp set & coordinating die set that I had never used. My daughter Taylor suggested it would match the background I made. I have a little designer in my future :-).

Hi Y'all! Here is my entry for the Mojo Monday Challenge. I used the Balloons from Lawn Fawn's Blue Skies that I had used for the Ink Pad comparison in the previous post. Anyway, hope you like!

Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad vs. Gina K Black Ink Pad
Hi Y'all! Here is the comparison I promised earlier this week. I just got in the Blue Skies Stamp Set by Lawn Fawn, so I thought it would be fun to use for the bake-off. I DID NOT try to do expert coloring and blending. What I wanted to do was to completely saturate the paper with the most difficult color to use - RED. And, see what happened. I SOAKED this paper, and I mean soaked! On the left is Memento and on the Right is Gina K.
My final opinion is that the Gina K black is a darker more true Black and it did NOT smear at all - I love it!! I did however let it dry for an hour (broke for lunch). Use it wet, and it will smear. Memento is tried and true. It won't smear no matter what, but the black is a bit dull. Either are perfect for Copics, as long as you let the Gina K ink dry completely. My pick: Gina K.
Good luck to you! Let me know how they work for you.

Neat & Tangled On the Strip Card
Hi Y'all! I got a bunch of new craft goodies in the mail this week and have been dying to use them. Work always gets in the way of my crafty time!! Gina K released some awesome new inks last week and I couldn't wait to use the 4 ink pads I bought. I got Blue Raspberry, Sweet Corn, Green Grass...and Black. Gina K used her Black ink with Alcohol pens so my fingers are crossed that it doesn't smear! I will post a comparison to Memento Tuxedo Black later in the week. In the meantime, here is my card using all the inks (properties are very similar to Hero Arts Shadow Inks), and the Neat & Tangled On the Strip stamps.
-First I stamped the design on two different pieces of white cardstock
-Then I cut them into 1.5" squares and laid them out in a pattern.
-I then used the Stampin Up Top Note die to cut out the design & layered it on black cardstock
-Added Bling, Leaves, and the Hello strip on pop dots
